CSAC Institute for Excellence in County Government -- The CSAC Institute for Excellence in County Government, established in 2008, is a professional, practical continuing education experience designed to expand the capacity and capability of county officials to provide extraordinary services to their communities.
Cal-ICMA -- Cal-ICMA is a
collaboration of the California City Manager’s Department (CMD); the California
City Managers Foundation (CCMF); the two assistants groups (MMANC and MMASC);
the County CAOs; and the COG Directors.
ICMA ICMA creates excellence in local governance by developing and fostering professional local government management. The organization provides technical and management assistance, training, and information resources in the areas of performance measurement, ethics education and training, community and economic development, environmental management, technology, and other topics to its members and the broader local government community.
Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service The Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service provides objective information, data, research, technical assistance, and practical training to state and local officials, community leaders, and members of the general public
Berkeley Executive Seminar At the Berkeley Executive Seminar city managers, county administrators, regional directors, and other senior local government officials exchange and acquire tools for improving local government.
